Well, 2011 has been very good to us here at DanielTitus.com.  With the new year approaching many people will be looking ahead to 2012.  I think that's good.  We should all be mindful about the future.  We should make preparations and resolutions with renewed enthusiasm.  In addition to that, I feel it is important to be contemplative.  It is paramount to consider our successes and failures, joys and sorrows, accomplishments and mistakes.  Each year I try to bear in mind the salient moments of the past year before resolving for the year ahead.  Because it would be rude and in poor taste to share with you some of my regrets from this past year, I will share, instead, some of my favorite projects of the year.

Of the websites I completed in 2011, the downtown Albany, GA site has got to be my favorite.  There is plethora of things going on, and the site itself reaches so many different people in our area.  The downtown area helps make Albany, GA a better place to live, work and visit.  It is very gratifying to be a part of that.

Lemonade
I love doing thematic websites.  I don't want to take it too far, but it is so much fun to create a site with a certain motif in mind.  The lemonade site does just that.  Whenever I design a site, I do so with a certain word in mind.  I try to capture the essence of that one word and speak to its ineffability.  The word here is fresh!

Artesian
This one kind of made the list on a technicality.  You see, it's not quite finished.  There are a few pieces of copy that have not yet been completed.  That will be taken care of in short order.  I made sure to include this in the list because I know it is Kristen's favorite.

Advertisements

Albany Herald
It really was an honor to get to design an ad for the Herald's 120th anniversary.  We kicked around a lot of ideas with Langstaff Marketing.  In total I think there were eight or nine different options.  In the end, we landed on Carnegie Hall.

Advent
I was excited to get back to my roots with this truck wrap!  Lemonade Marketing and I were able to work on this one.  There is nothing like seeing a billboard driving down the road.  If you've got a delivery truck, it's just the most logical move to put your brand on the side!

Shameless Plug
I don't do a lot of advertising for myself.  In fact, this is the only real advertisement that I've ever done.  I try not to say to much about the company and let my work speak for itself.  So, when I finally did an ad, I kept the same mantra.

Better Way

Happy new year, everybody.  May 2012 be even better!
